After years of product development and testing the new Frontier series Odyssey tent is IN STOCK in at Altitude Industries, Denver CO.  This tent may look similar to the Evolution series, but it's completely redesigned from the ground up.

Odyssey Shell
Made with a thick (4mm) ABS polymer that is strong, durable, and resistant to heat and light.  It's also coated on the outside with a special UV protective layer which also gives greater resistance to extreme weather and resilience to the color when exposed to the elements.  A specially designed aluminum profile rim with several integrated gutters easily allows you to attach and slide different accessories inside and outside the tent.
At the bottom of the tent there are cavities for 8 slide gutters to position and attach the fixing clips to the roof racks of the vehicle, allowing fitment with a wide range of roof racks.

Odyssey Roof Top Tent Fabric
The heavy duty gray canvas consists of a coated high-quality 3 layered fabric, with 650 gr/m2, double seams that reflects solar rays and are resistant to UV, heat and water.
The tent has incredible wind resistance tested to withstand gusts of wind of up to 75 miles per hour! 
This rooftop tent has the trademarked 360º view through its windows and doors with the Mosquito Net stitched right into the fabric.
Batten down the hatches, and you'll have a perfect night's sleep due to the improved acoustic and thermal insulation, 100% blackout technology and rubber cursors on all the zippers.  The rear door features a transparent PVC window for when it’s raining or cold, the window can be closed from outside weather but light still comes inside.

James Baroud Solar Powered Fan
Charged by the sun by day, the fan operates silently at night to evacuate any humid air in the tent (you breathing) to prevent condensation, humidity, or mildew. The solar fan has a 24-hour battery which is automatically recharged while in the sun. With a capacity of 19.2m3/h, this fan was conceived to circulate a volume seven times the size of our bigger tent.

Premium High Pressure Piston Arms
The closing and opening of the tent is automatically assisted through 4 hydraulic dampers and articulated arms which lock into position.   This gives the tent canvas the perfect taut tension for a quiet, flap free night no matter which way the wind is coming from.  No rain fly's or scoops here to grab wind or shake your tent. 
On the inside of the tent the pistons are protected by a canvas.

Ultra Comfortable High Density Mattress
Every JB tent has an uber comfortable high density Mattress made for long trips and maximum comfort. With 28kg/m3 density and 65mm high, it is often reported as the most comfortable in the market.
In the new Odyssey you’ll also find an Isolating PVC flooring to improve comfort, as well as a rechargeable LED Flashlight which conveniently mounts inside the tent, or can be removed and brought outside as needed. USB rechargeable lithium battery of 2600mA allows several hours of use before recharging.

Interior Storage Net
James Baroud hard shell roof top tents include a storage net on the upper part of the interior.  When closed, the Odyssey Roof Top Tent has 7.8" (H) of interiro storage space. for leaving your bedding, pillows, clothes, whatever!  Don't settle for a tent that requires you to take everything out to make it close easily. 

Odyssey Roof Top Tent Latches
To improve the tent aerodynamics, there are now only 2 latches on the back side of the tent, which also speeds up opening and closing.  The front nose of the tent has a new patented locking mechanism to make it easier and faster.  It simply "clips" into place before you pull the rear of the tent back down and latch it. 

Mounting Clamps for Odyssey Roof Top Tent
The newly redesigned Mounting Clamps are now more versatile and can be attached to cross bars with varied width between 1.18"and 3.35". It is also made of a strong polymer so it won’t rust, it’s easier to attach to the car and can resist a torque of 14 N m. The tent is delivered with 6 sets of James Baroud Clamps.  Traditional bolt and plate JB mounting brackets can also be used with the new Odyssey should your rack require it. 

The Hard Shell
The hard shell of the tent is manufactured in fiberglass fortified polyester and the bottom has provisions to hold the aluminum ladder.

The fixation to the vehicle is made by two aluminium rails, built-in the under with six fixing points (M8 screws and self-locking bolts).

Automatic Opening & Closing

No other tent on the market today, opens and CLOSES as easily as the Odyssey. Opening the tent is automatic and nearly effortless thanks two AL-KO struts that opens the tent automatically in 5 seconds. All you have to do is release the catches!

Closing the tent is nearly as easy – just close the top half of the shell and by hand and the fabric sides are automatically drawn into the hull by the elasticized seam. Secure the latches and you’re done. All in all – it takes around 15 seconds to completely close and latch the top shell to the bottom and you’re ready to continue your journey! 

Ladder

The ladder is adjustable to the vehicle height and flexible to match the movement when people move inside the tent. With non-slip and ergonomic steps, it is sent with a bag made of our canvas and PVC, to avoid sand and water going inside the tent.  Or, stow your ladder on the outside underside of the tent shell. 

It has a lock mechanism after attached so it doesn't fall even with high winds and rain, it also has a rubber finishing in the bottom so it sticks to every terrain.
